Our success to date has resulted from a number of factors, in particular, our remarkable flexibility and reliability in meeting our customers' needs. Our friendly, helpful staff offer you honesty and responsiveness. We provide a high quality product fulfilment solution, with only 3 days' lead time for many complex configured products. This necessitates a first class material supply chain; customers benefit from our purchasing leverage. ACW sites have Training Schools where our own IPC610 Class A qualified instructors train, re-train and assess operatives to ensure that we achieve high quality standards in goods shipped.

Following many years' solid growth starting in 1989, sales in the financial year ending 30th September 2009 exceeded £50M. The company has made an operational and bottom line profit for over 16 years and its finances compare favourably with its peers. ACW's financial pedigree ensures continuity of supply for its customers' products.

The factory facilities (200,000 sq.ft. in England and Wales in the UK, North Carolina in the US and Southern China) are outstanding, with 13 surface mount lines capable of dealing with the latest components; extensive test and inspection facilities; box build & configuration cells and a substantial repair centre dealing with upgrades and repairs to component level. Our engineers provide extensive support to customers in design for Manufacture, Test and Procurement. Our Asian International Purchasing Office ensures competitive material pricing.

Information Technology has been in constant development for many years; ACW systems target yield improvements and provide information for staff, suppliers and customers. Our systems and controls are geared towards getting it right first time, coupled with flexibility and good communication that form part of the rationale for sourcing in the UK. The same systems and controls are in use in all of our factories to provide world-wide status information for customers. We use Key Performance Indicators to drive improvements in company operations for the benefit of our customers.
